Draft for counsel review — not legal advice.

These guidelines help keep ReputeHK fair for consumers and agents. Shares and reviews are experience records — not Insurance Authority disciplinary actions. ReputeHK does not sell insurance and does not take commission.

• Write honest, firsthand experiences. Do not invent stories, post for someone else, or buy/sell shares.
• One main scored review per user per agent still applies on agent profiles. Open experience shares may omit a named agent.
• Complaints need structure before they appear in the public feed: what happened, roughly when, and service type (consult, purchase, claims, follow-up, or other). Incomplete or junk complaints are demoted off the public feed.
• Do not treat the feed as a hate ranking or pile-on wall. We do not sort agents by complaint count. Repeat complaints about the same alleged identity may be limited in public view.
• Public alleged names show surname only, labelled Unverified, until a profile is linked and platform checks apply.
• No hate speech, threats, harassment, or doxxing. Do not post phone numbers, addresses, HKID, medical details, or policy numbers beyond what a form allows.
• Anti-fake: no sockpuppets, no coordinated stuffing, no undisclosed paid posts, no impersonation of agents or clients.

• No agent-vs-agent sockpuppets: do not create accounts to smear competitors or inflate your own ratings.
• Self-review is banned.
• Prefer verified consult/policyholder paths when claiming first-hand dealing on a scored review.
• Right of Reply: linked agents may publish one factual reply. No harassment and no client PII in replies.

Public trust tiers are labels, not IA findings: Unverified alleged details; linked profile; platform licence check; verified consult; verified policyholder. Badges are platform checks only.

We may warn, hide, demote, remove content, or ban accounts. Serious abuse (forgery, coordinated stuffing, threats) may lead to immediate removal and referral where required by law.

To report allegedly unlawful or false content, email reports@reputehk.example (placeholder) with:

1. URL of the content
2. Your contact details
3. Why you believe it should be removed
4. Any supporting evidence

We aim to acknowledge reports; SLA and evidence-preservation process will be set with counsel before public launch.

• Right of Reply：
